A small hat, worn on a tilt, that has been turning heads at the races for three centuries. At Royal Ascot, which Queen Anne started in 1711, the hat became the whole point of the afternoon. The percher was the sharp choice: less brim, more nerve, a hat for a woman who came to be seen and knew it.
Hand-blocked in sinamay, a fine weave of abaca fibre dampened and steamed over a wooden form until it holds its shape on its own.
Material: sinamay (abaca fibre) is a natural fibre. Keep it dry, store it in its box, away from damp.
Trim: hand-bound navy grosgrain edge
